Mobile Car Wash & Detailing Policy
Olvera’s Car Care, a mobile car wash and detailing business is established under the laws of the State of California. This Agreement outlines the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both parties with respect to the services provided by Olvera’s Car Care. By entering into this Agreement, both parties acknowledge and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions considering the mutual promises and benefits to be derived therefrom.
Olvera’s is committed to providing Clients with a tailored suite of car wash and detailing services designed to meet their needs and preferences.
Service Frequency
At Olvera’s, we offer two types of service schedules:
• Recurring Schedule Clients: Clients can choose from weekly or bi-weekly service frequencies at discounted rates. This ensures consistent care and maintenance of the client’s vehicle, maintaining high standards and satisfaction.
• Non-Recurring Schedule Clients: Services for non-recurring clients are scheduled based on availability and the condition of the vehicle. This flexibility allows us to accommodate clients who require less frequent service without compromising on the quality of our care.
To ensure optimal service, a minimum service call fee of $100 per car is applied, equivalent to our Mini detail value.
Privacy and Confidentiality Assurance
Olvera’s Car Care respects the privacy and confidentiality of the Client’s personal information and vehicle details. The Client can trust that all information provided to Olvera’s Car Care will be kept confidential and not shared with any third-party entities without prior consent.
Recommended Preparation Instructions
• Ensuring your vehicle is parked and unlocked in a location accessible to Olvera’s Car Care’s technicians, it helps with our schedule effectiveness.
• Provide gate or access codes if the vehicle is located within a gated residence or community that requires additional access.
• Leave keys available in the vehicle or provide access instructions as necessary before your scheduled appointment.
• Removing valuables or items of sentimental value from the vehicle prevents loss or damage during the service process.
• Placing trash on your vehicle floor before a service will help us identify what we can throw away.
Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation Policy
• The client must provide a minimum of 48-hour notice in the event of a cancellation. This notification period allows Olvera’s Car Care to adjust its schedule accordingly and potentially fill the vacant appointment slot with another client.
• If the Client fails to provide the required 48-hour notice for cancellation, Olvera’s Car Care reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $60.
• Our company is not responsible for sending appointment reminders.
• A recurring schedule client who cancels three times in a row will lose their reserved day and time slot. (Vacation time is exempted)

Wait Time Policy
Olvera’s cannot wait more than 15 minutes after we arrive for the service. If the client doesn’t arrive during the wait time, a cancellation fee of $60 will be charged. We understand that time is valuable for both parties. Unforeseen circumstances may delay our schedule as well, but you will be informed to avoid any schedule delay.
Lost Items Disclaimer
Olvera’s Car Care takes every precaution to ensure the safety and security of the Client’s vehicle and belongings during the car detailing. However, the Client acknowledges that accidents or incidents beyond Olvera’s Car Care’s control may occur. Therefore, Olvera’s Car Care cannot be held responsible for any lost or misplaced items in the vehicle. The client is responsible for removing any valuables, personal belongings, or items of sentimental value from the car before the scheduled appointment.
Rain Days and Rain Check Policy
After over 20 years in business, Olvera’s understands that rain or adverse weather conditions may impact the decision of Clients to have their vehicle washed or detailed. To accommodate such situations and ensure the Client’s satisfaction, after service is provided, Olvera’s Car Care offers a rain check policy due to physical rain within 24 hours. If for some reason we don’t get to all clients within those 24 hours, we will provide a 25% credit towards the next service. Additionally, Olvera’s Car Care may proactively contact the Client or proceed if their vehicle is observed at their residence after rainy conditions to offer an exterior touch-up service at no cost.
Extra Work Surcharge
In some instances, Our Client’s vehicle may require additional attention or specialized services beyond our standard service, a surcharge may be applied to cover the cost of materials, labor, and additional time needed to complete the service. By providing transparent and fair pricing, Olvera’s Car Care ensures that the Client receives the highest service and satisfaction tailored to their needs and preferences.
Quality of Service
We want you to be satisfied with our service. No services offered are guaranteed to completely restore your vehicle to any previous or new condition. We always try our absolute best to do our job to the best condition possible and within the constraints of our resources, time, and expertise.
Accidents, Pre-Existing Condition & Damage
Olvera’s Car care cannot be held responsible for any type of vehicle or property damage while in our care. We are as careful as possible, if something does get damaged while washing or detailing your vehicle, we will advise you of the incident.
Bonded Status
Olvera’s Car Care is proud to inform the Client that it is a fully bonded entity that provides additional protection and assurance for the services rendered. Being bonded means that Olvera’s Car Care has secured a surety bond, which serves as insurance to protect the Client in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as property damage, resulting from the actions of Olvera’s Car Care or its representatives.
Payment Policy
All monthly billed clients are required to pay the first month in advance, this helps our company to ensure our payroll and other expenses. Olvera’s Car Care shall provide the Client with a transparent breakdown invoice every month of service performed in their vehicles.
• Auto Pay Enrollment: Our clients can enroll in Olvera’s Car Care’s auto-pay system for recurring car washing or detailing services. By enrolling in autopay, the Client authorizes Olvera’s Car Care to automatically charge the designated payment method on file for the agreed-upon services at the agreed-upon intervals. Auto-pay enrollment streamlines the payment process, ensuring timely and hassle-free transactions for both parties.
• Payment Delay: In the event of a payment delay, the Client shall notify Olvera’s Car Care immediately to arrange alternative payment arrangements. Failure to remit payment within a month time frame. Olvera’s Car Care reserves the right to charge late fees on overdue payments. If your account is over 90 days past due, you will receive a letter stating that you have 20 days to pay your account in full. Please be aware that if a balance remains unpaid, we may refer your account to a collection agency. If this occurs, you will be notified by mail.
Governing Law/Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. ARBITRATION REPLACES THE RIGHT TO GO TO COURT, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO A JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR SIMILAR PROCEEDING. IN ARBITRATION, A DISPUTE IS RESOLVED BY AN ARBITRATOR INSTEAD OF A JUDGE OR JURY. The laws of the State of California, with jurisdiction in Pasadena, shall govern this Agreement without giving effect to conflict of laws principles. We agree that any dispute, claim, or disagreement between us shall be resolved exclusively by arbitration. Arbitration is a process in which persons with a dispute(s) agree to submit their dispute(s) to a neutral third person (an “arbitrator”) for a decision and waive their rights to file a lawsuit in court to resolve their dispute(s). Each party to the dispute(s) can present some evidence to the arbitrator. Pre-arbitration discovery may be limited. Arbitration proceedings are private and less formal than court trials. The arbitrator will issue a final and binding decision resolving the dispute(s), which may be enforced as a court judgment. A court rarely overturns an arbitrator’s decision.
General Provisions
Olvera’s Car Care shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or expense resulting from an interruption of services, delay, or failure in performance herein due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of nature, public emergencies, government actions, fire, flood, epidemic, riot, theft, quarantine restrictions, or other similar events (“Force Majeure”). Upon the occurrence of a Force Majeure, Olvera’s Car Care’s obligations under this Agreement shall be postponed or suspended for the duration thereof. Olvera’s Car Care must promptly notify the Client of Force Majeure events. Following the cessation of such events, Olvera’s Car Care shall resume its obligations with minimal delay, employing commercially reasonable efforts to do so.
